Role Description

This is a great opportunity for a part time IT Training Assistant to join us on a 6-12 month contract. Reporting to the Learning & Development Officer you will be responsible for carrying out inductions, designing and creating training materials through to being the go to person in regards to applications and systems.

In terms of hours we are looking for candidates that are able to commit to 15 hours a week ideally Monday- Wednesday 10-3pm, however we can be flexible for the right candidate.

Experience/ Attributes required

  • An aptitude for IT and an up-to-date knowledge of common applications and systems
  • Good oral and written communication skills with a high attention to detail 
  • Strong experience within training and presentation delivery
  • Demonstrates patience, confidence and empathy with learners
  • A desire for personal continuous improvement and learning
  • Positively contributes towards improving training standards within the firm.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Adaptable, self-starter - comfortable working both independently as well as part of a team.
  •  IT knowledge must include an in-depth familiarity of MS Office 2010/2019 or 365

Desirable skills within  the following applications: iManage Filesite V9, iManage Work10 and iManageShare,Thomson Reuters Elite v2.8 - V2.9,Thomson Reuters MatterSphere v6.3 - v8,MS Teams,Winscribe digital dictation, Oyez Forms, Lexis Nexis Interaction,Morae (DocsCorp) PDFDocs and Compare Docs, Docusign,Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate e-learning

Work type:

  • Schedule and carry out IT induction training with additional follow-up training based on the individual’s capability.
  • Provide ad-hoc IT training

  • Organise and communicate to employees available IT training opportunities
  • One-to-one coaching, classroom training, webinars and online training via Teams
  • Design and create professional training materials including user manuals, videos, e-learning, quick reference handouts and ad-hoc instructions
