Role Description

We are currently on the lookout for a Corporate Paralegal to join us on a full-time basis. Whilst the role will primarily be based at our offices based in Reading, as an organisation we are also happy to offer this role on a hybrid or remote model.  As part of the role you will report into the Corporate Partners and will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Team on transactions.

In terms of the candidate, we are ideally looking for individuals who have experience working in a Corporate Team in a private practice. You must have strong oral and written communication skills, good academics, be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines and guidelines.

Experience/ Attributes required


  • Experience working in a  Corporate Paralegal experience within a law firm.
  • Proficiency using virtual data rooms for the purpose of uploading and organising transactions documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail, as well as organisational and multitasking skills
  • Promote good relations with other members of staff and facilitate teamwork
  •  Provide support to other fee earners as required


  • Preferably Degree educated


Work type:

  • Working mostly on M&A transactions; also providing support on private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures and general corporate advisory work.
  • Undertaking due diligence and disclosure exercises including data room management, preparation/review of answers to due diligence questions, drafting/reviewing of disclosure letters and the preparation of due diligence reports.
  • Drafting resolutions and other ancillary documents.
  • Preparation and filing of Companies House forms, co-ordinating the signature of documents for transaction completions.
  • Day-to-day communications with clients by phone and email.
  • Attending in-person meetings with clients and business development events.
  •  Undertaking legal research projects.
