Role Description

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Digital Marketing Manager to join a fast paced but friendly team based in Reading.  Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Business Development you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong Digital Marketer with at least 5 years’ experience. You will be a proactive ,organised and self-motivated individual, with broad experience across a number of digital channels including PPC, SEO, email and social media marketing, to website management.

Experience/ Attributes required

  • Minimum 5 years + digital marketing experience
  • First class project management skills and ability to deliver to deadlines consistently
  •  Ability to use PhotoShop, Premiere Pro, Canva, InDesign
  •  Experience B2C and B2B digital marketing
  • Experience of digital upskilling and coaching line reports
  • Proactive, positive and collaborative mindset
  • Strong experience of SEO at both strategic and operational level
  • Strong experience of paid digital advertising via search networks and social
  • Software skills including CMS platforms (Drupal, Concrete 5); SEO tools; web analytics and basic HTML coding
  • Experience of using e-marketing tools such as Vuture
  • Able to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  •  Some knowledge of video and podcast editing

Work type:

  • Leading on B2C Boyes Turner Claims and Boyes Turner firm site ongoing improvements to functionality and performance
  • Developing and delivering the firms digital marketing strategy
  • Optimising content and analysing content performance on Boyes Turner Claims site
  • Applying SEO best practice and sharing knowledge with the wider marketing team
  • Providing expert guidance and technical support on all forms of digital marketing providing strategic advice and recommending new ideas
  • Creating and executing organic and paid campaigns
  • Co-ordinating activity to drive traffic, generate leads and maximize engagement from various inline channels including SEO, Social, Paid Search and Email Marketing
  • Leading on user journey testing to identify ways to deepen engagement
  • Leading on the delivery and evaluation of digital KPI reporting to guide and inform digital marketing optimization and content management
  • Developing tracking strategies to attribute leads
  • Day-to-day management of the digital marketing executive
  • Remaining up to date on digital marketing trends and proactively coaching and developing skills of line reports
  • Building strong working relationships with e-marketing and digital agencies
