Role Description
We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Head of Marketing and Business Development to join our team at Boyes Turner, a distinguished law firm recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers guides. This senior management role, reporting directly to the Managing Partner, requires the successful candidate to attend monthly management committee meetings and contribute to the strategic direction of the partnership.
Whilst the role involves both Marketing and Business Development expertise, we’re particularly looking for someone who can showcase a strong track record of proactive and successful business development to help drive forward the Firm’s ambitious growth plans. Experience/ Attributes required
- Develop further and agree the business development and marketing strategy to support business objectives.
- Prepare and manage the marketing and business development budget throughout the year.
- Continue to develop sector driven business development opportunities.
- Team management and mentor skills essential.
- Strong project management skills required.
- SEO awareness required.
- Oversee and manage tenders/bids and beauty parades.
- Oversee legal directory submissions from practice teams.
- "Hands on" business development experience in a legal or other professional services environment desirable.
- E-marketing experience ideally using Interaction or similar.
- Oversee the PR and marketing in relation to the following activities:
- Articles
- Press releases
- Awards submission
- Website development & maintenance
- Relevant publications
- Events
- Legal directories
- General media relations
- Newsletters preparation and production
- Literature production
- Internal Communications
- CSR communication and PR
- Marketing database
