Role Description

We are currently on the look out for a Property Support Assistant/Paralegal to join us on a fulltime basis at our offices based in Reading. As part of the role you will report into the Conveyancing Director and will provide administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing Team.

In terms of the candidate you will be a strong team player with excellent administration experience and a forward thinking attitude. Ideally you will have worked within residential conveyancing or a similar environment.

Experience/ Attributes required

  • Experience working within a legal environment within property or residential
  • Able to work independently on allotted tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively in a team or on own initiative
  • Effective time management
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment

Work type:

Administrative duties including but not limited to:

  • Running file with minimal supervision from exchange to completion
  • Registration
  • File closures
  • Conveyancing searches
  • Diary management
  • Completing forms (inc. Land Registry and SDLT)
  • Sorting post
  • Fee notes
  • Scanning/Faxing
  • Collating documents
  • Generating bills

o    Accounts monitoring

o    Initial point of telephone contact for clients




  • 25 days holiday
