Phil leads the firm's Business Support & Insolvency service - the only insolvency team in the region ranked "Band 1" by Chambers for the last 10 consecutive years.
Under his guidance the firm has recently won Insolvency Law Firm of The Year at the Insolvency & Rescue Awards.
Phil acts for Insolvency Practitioners, banks, directors and other business stakeholders and is ranked as one of the leading corporate recovery and insolvency specialists in the Thames Valley. He has 20 years’ experience in the full range of insolvency assignments, from voluntary and compulsory liquidations through to administrations, voluntary arrangements and bankruptcies.
The Association of Business Recovery Professionals, the Insolvency Lawyers' Association, and INSOL International.
Phil graduated from The University of Essex before studying at Chester College of Law and training with Boyes Turner. He qualified in 1994 and became a partner in 2000.
Phil is married with four children and lives in Reading. Hobbies include golf, managing his daughter's football team, and supporting Reading Football Club. He is also vice-chair of governors at Radstock Primary School.
